Jacob's Ordination Service in February 2011
Jacob and I live in Lincoln, Nebraska, my hometown. We moved back after he graduated from seminary in Alabama in December 2009. We have a baby girl, Evelyn Christine, born on March 27, 2012, two kittens, a home, and loving family very close by.
Jacob serves as an interim pastor at First Evangelical Covenant Church and Assistant Pastor of Preaching and Teaching at Redeemer Church (PCA), where we are members. He also works full time at an internet marketing company. I recently finished certification for choir, band, and orchestra K-12 and I teach private voice and piano lessons. Church music is my passion but I figure that training for public school will give me the education I need to work effectively in the church, Lord willing. I love conducting choir at any level and working with elementary kiddos in general music.
This blog is for our friends and family to stay in touch and for personal reflections and thoughts we may have, even though they may be terribly unimportant.
